About the Role
You will join a growing, multidisciplinary team delivering high-quality rheumatology care across the county. The role can be based at either Yeovil or Taunton, with collaboration across both sites to ensure a consistent and innovative service.

Your Key Responsibilities
Clinical Care
Provide expert diagnosis and management of rheumatological conditions
Run outpatient clinics and support ongoing patient management
Deliver inpatient consultations and advice for referred patients
Work closely with specialist nurses to ensure holistic care
Teamwork & Collaboration
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team across Somerset
Support colleagues and contribute to shared clinical responsibilities
Participate in cross-site working to enhance service delivery
Leadership & Development
Contribute to service development and transformation
Lead or participate in quality improvement initiatives
Take part in clinical governance and audit activities
Support the ongoing development of rheumatology services

What You’ll Need
Essential Qualifications
Full registration with the General Medical Council and licence to practice
MRCP (Membership of the Royal College of Physicians)
CCST/CCT in Rheumatology (or within 6 months of completion)
