Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced and compassionate nurse to join our Women’s Services team as a Gynaecology Cancer Nurse Specialist. This is a highly rewarding role where you will provide expert, patient-centered care to individuals diagnosed with gynaecological cancer, supporting them and their families through every stage of their treatment journey.
As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will manage a specialist caseload, coordinate individual care pathways, and conduct holistic assessments that address the physical, emotional, and psychosocial needs of patients.
 Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key worker and advocate, offering advice, reassurance, and education to patients, carers, and healthcare staff.
- Lead and coordinate patient care pathways for gynaecological cancer patients.
- Deliver nurse-led clinics and support patients’ treatment journeys with expert guidance.
- Contribute to service development, participate in audits and research, and help improve overall quality of care.
- Support the education and training of staff and students across the Trust.

 Essential Skills & Experience
- Registered nurse with relevant post-registration experience in gynaecology or oncology.
- Ability to manage a specialist caseload and deliver complex care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient, carer, and team interactions.
- Experience in delivering nurse-led clinics and contributing to service improvement projects.
- Knowledge of holistic assessment, risk management, and evidence-based interventions.
