Role Overview

We are seeking a Faculty Change Lead to drive transformative improvements across professional services within the Faculty of Engineering Sciences.

You will play a central role in leading and coordinating functional reviews, service simplification initiatives, and operational redesign projects that reinforce effective and consistent support across departments, teams, and faculty functions.

This role involves close collaboration with the Faculty Office, central UCL professional services, and key stakeholders to ensure impactful and sustainable outcomes.

Key responsibilities may include:

  • Building strong business cases and project plans
  • Advising and leading change conversations across teams
  • Developing inclusive communication strategies
  • Gathering and analysing data to inform design decisions
  • Coordinating workshops, meetings, and project resources
  • Partnering with the business analysis team to shape a future‑fit operating model

Who We’re Looking For

Essential Experience & Skills

A degree, equivalent professional experience, or senior administrative background within higher education or a comparable sector.
Proven track record in leading complex initiatives that span multiple teams or departments.
Experience in strategic planning, operational improvement, and project delivery against competing deadlines.
Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
An ability to work independently and to think critically about wider organisational impact.
