Two opportunities have become available for experienced and motivated administrators to join the CAMHS Single Point of Access (SPA) and Think Together teams based at North Moor House.
In this pivotal role, you will help ensure children and young people can access mental health services efficiently and compassionately. Your work behind the scenes will directly support clinicians in delivering timely, high-quality care.
The Role at a Glance
As a Clinical Team Administrator, you will play a central role in supporting multidisciplinary professionals including the Clinical Lead, service manager, and clinicians. Your contribution will ensure that appointments run smoothly, documentation is accurate, and communication remains clear and professional.
You will need to thrive in a busy environment where priorities can shift quickly, and where sensitivity, discretion, and empathy are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the CAMHS SPA and Think Together teams.
- Manage diaries, arrange meetings, and coordinate clinical appointments.
- Accurately record, type, and distribute clinical correspondence and meeting minutes.
- Maintain and improve administrative systems and filing processes.
- Communicate confidently with families, carers, professionals, and partner agencies.
- Support workload prioritisation to ensure service deadlines are consistently met.
- Handle confidential information in accordance with data protection standards.
- Excellent typing speed, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal skills are essential for success.

What You’ll Need
Essential Qualifications
Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject (or willingness to work towards Level 3 Business Administration).
Level 2 literacy and numeracy (GCSE Grade 4–9 / Grade C and above in Maths and English).
If not already achieved, these must be obtained during probation.
Essential Experience
- Administrative experience (diary management, data entry, minute taking, meeting coordination).
- Customer service experience (face-to-face, telephone, written communication).
- Managing competing priorities and meeting deadlines.
- Maintaining office systems and processes.
- Working independently and proactively.
Essential Knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Understanding of confidentiality and data protection responsibilities.
- Familiarity with office administration systems.
Desirable
- Level 3 Business Administration.
- RSA Level 2 or equivalent.
- Experience within an NHS or clinical setting.
- Supervisory or financial handling experience.
- Knowledge of NHS systems.
