What You’ll Be Doing
Patient Care Delivery
- Provide holistic, planned care under the direction of Registered Nurses
- Monitor patient wellbeing and escalate clinical concerns promptly
- Support dignity, safety and comfort in all interactions
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with nurses, allied professionals and ward teams
- Communicate clearly with patients, families and colleagues
- Adapt care to meet individual needs
Professional Practice
- Deliver care aligned with RNA scope of practice
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation
- Uphold infection prevention and safeguarding standards
- Clinical Responsibility
- Prioritise workload effectively
- Contribute to safe patient flow
- Follow Trust policies and escalation pathways

Essential Requirements
Applicants should demonstrate:
- Current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Council as a Nursing Associate
- Previous healthcare setting experience
- Understanding of the RNA role within a multidisciplinary team
- Desirable additions include acute clinical experience, Care Certificate training and familiarity with hospital IT systems.
Safeguarding & Regulatory Framework
This role requires statutory safeguarding clearance through the Disclosure and Barring Service. Visa sponsorship is considered subject to eligibility and national workforce requirements.
