About the Role
Are you a newly qualified or experienced Registered Nurse ready to take the next step in your career? Montacute North is a specialised 22-bed unit delivering complex and high-quality care for people with vascular needs under the Surgical Services Group. The team manages acute and planned admissions, advanced wound care, vascular pain, and coordinated discharge planning.
We are looking for compassionate and driven nurses to join our multidisciplinary team. This role involves rotational shift work, including nights and weekends, with flexible part-time and full-time options.

Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centred nursing care.
- Use established departmental systems for daily patient care and collabor-
ative teamwork. - Communicate sensitively with patients, families, carers and colleagues.
- Contribute to discharge planning and continuity of care.
- For experienced Band 5 nurses: take clinical and leadership responsibility in the absence of senior team members.
Professional Requirements
Essential Qualifications & Skills
- Registered Nurse (RGN) with the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC).
- Ability to communicate in English (written & verbal).
- Analytical and clinical decision-making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with patients, relatives and staff.
- Competency in electronic records, documentation and basic IT tools.
Desirable Experience
- Vascular nursing experience and clinical leadership experience.
- Experience of mentoring or supporting junior staff.

Professional Registration
All nurses must hold current UK professional registration with the NMC.
