Medivet Quarrington is seeking a confident Veterinary Surgeon who holds, or is working towards, a CertAVP in Small Animal Surgery. If you’re passionate about advanced surgical techniques, case planning, and peri-operative care, this is your chance to grow in a supportive and innovative environment.

Our purpose-built practice features five consulting rooms, separate dog and cat wards, and state-of-the-art operating theatres equipped with digital and dental X-rays, ECG, ultrasound, and orthopaedic tools. With a busy and varied caseload, this is also a training practice for both nurses and vets, providing excellent opportunities for mentorship and professional development.

What You’ll Do

As a Veterinary Surgeon at Medivet Quarrington, your role will include:

  • Delivering exceptional surgical and consultative care, adhering to regulatory and operational standards (RCVS Guidance)
  • Developing individualised treatment plans in collaboration with clients
  • Leading peri-operative planning and case management
  • Working as part of a supportive multidisciplinary team, sharing expertise and contributing to a culture of learning (NHS Leadership & Teamwork Guidance)
  • Supporting and mentoring colleagues within the Medivet network
