About the Role
Gas Certs London is expanding its renewable energy division and is looking for a motivated Heat Pump Installer / Engineer to join our growing team in the North East of England.
This role is ideal whether you’re:
- Already working with heat pumps, or
- Looking to move into renewables with no prior heat pump experience
If you’re new to the field, we’ll train you from the ground up, support your MCS certification, and help you build a long-term career in low-carbon heating.
 What You’ll Be Doing
- Installing and commissioning air-source heat pump systems
- Ensuring all work complies with MCS standards and UK regulations
- Completing installation reports and compliance documentation
- Delivering high-quality workmanship and excellent customer service
- Supporting and mentoring junior installers as you gain experience
- Representing the company professionally on customer sites
 What We’re Looking For
- You don’t need to tick every box — attitude and commitment matter most.
Essential:
- Strong interest in renewable energy and low-carbon heating
- Practical, hands-on approach to work
- Good communication and customer-facing skills
- Willingness to learn and follow safety standards
- Not Required (We’ll Train You):
- Heat pump experience
- MCS certification
 Skilled Worker Visa Sponsorship
We do offer Skilled Worker (Tier 2) visa sponsorship, with the following conditions:
- Candidates must already be in the UK
- Candidates must currently have the right to work in the UK
- We provide full support through the sponsorship process for eligible applicants
