JOB SUMMARY
We are able to provide Tier 2 Sponsorship for Home Care Assistant employment in Chard on a limited basis. You MUST currently reside in the Chard region or a nearby commutable distance, have access to your own vehicle, and hold a valid UK driver’s license in order to be eligible for this. We will only get in touch with applicants who meet these requirements; relocation is not something we can explore.
We make sure that, as a Home Care Assistant with Care South, you are compensated for both your in-person and travel time. Furthermore, we receive a substantial mileage rate of 40p each mile.
Care South is a non-profit organisation that leads the south of England in providing both in-home and residential care.
You will work with a supportive, upbeat staff as a home care assistant, and they will be there for you at every step of your career. We take pleasure in providing our employees with chances for ongoing training and development as well as assistance in obtaining recognised qualifications.
You will be helping clients with a range of requirements, such as personal care in their homes, in this community-based work as a home care assistant. You must have access to your own vehicle and a valid UK driver’s license. Our position as a home care assistant offers flexibility and provides care for our clients from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 4 p.m. to 10 p.m.

Our home care aides are compensated with:
- £12.30 an hour
- The enhanced rate for bank holidays is £2.00 per hour.

Home care assistants’ primary responsibilities include:
- determining our clients’ requirements and capabilities, then giving them customised attention and support
- helping with household chores, medication, and meal preparation
- assisting with outings and shopping in the community
