IT technician

As we expand our operations, we are looking for a professional IT Technician to join our team and contribute to our success.

Key responsibilities:

1. Offering first-line technical support to users encountering IT-related problems. This includes diagnosing hardware, software, and network issues.

2. Responding to enquiries across many channels, such as phone, email, or a ticketing system. Logging and tracking all support requests to ensure prompt resolution.

3. Set up, configure, and maintain operating systems, software applications, and hardware devices such as printers, routers, and computers.

4. Performing routine maintenance for computer systems, such as upgrading software, installing patches, and making sure antivirus software is up to date.

5. Providing assistance with the configuration and operation of local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), and other networking technologies. Troubleshooting connectivity issues while maintaining network security.

6. Setting up, administering, and troubleshooting user accounts and permissions in a variety of systems, including email.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a similar profession.
Proven experience as an IT Technician or an equivalent position, preferably in the e-commerce industry.
Excellent understanding of IT systems, including hardware, software, and networking.
Experience with Windows, Linux, and cloud computing platforms.
Understand cybersecurity principles and best practices.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to handle technological problems quickly and effectively.
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities, as well as the ability to collaborate in a team setting.
Proactive approach and adaptability to a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.

Benefits and Salaries:

The annual package ranges from £35000 to £39,000 based on experience.

 20 holidays and 8 bank holidays per person.

 Multiply the number of places by 1.

 Sponsorship may be available for international candidates.
