To be appointed as a Social Worker, applicants must be registered with Social Work England (SWE) or apply to register with SWE.
Applications may be considered if you are pursuing a qualification that is required for the position you are seeking for and plan to complete it within the following three months after the application date.

The Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (as amended in 2013) covers the position for which you are seeking. You will be needed to furnish an automobile for use in conjunction with the duties of this position, and you must be insured for business purposes. However, we may consider you if you are unable to drive due to a disability.Applicants may also be considered if their ability to drive has been directly impacted by the epidemic due to DVLA delays and issues obtaining lessons. However, this is subject to the needs of the service, and choices are made at the discretion of the recruitment manager. Anyone who is successfully appointed but is unable to drive will be required to pass their test and supply a car for work purposes during their 6-month probation period.
