JOB SUMMARY

 

The Role

Sharkmob is expanding quickly and hiring for their London office. They want great people to join their design team. You’ll be closely working with all the different design fields, giving them technical help and building the game’s core systems. Your job will be to plan, build, record, and help with a number of important areas. You will work closely with the tech team and be the main person the designers talk to.

 

Responsibilities

  • Work with the engineering and design teams to figure out what the technology needs are.
  • Using UE5, help with the quick creation and testing of content, coming up with new ways to solve problems and making the transition from idea to content easier.
  • Help the design team by taking responsibility for certain parts of the game and being a point of contact for them. Help bring these parts up to AAA level.
  • Help teach the team’s younger members the best ways to do things and make sure that standards are followed when plans and other assets are being made.
  • Show that you care about giving the team the tools they need to make AAA content.

 

Requirements

  • Learn how to make tools and content with Unreal Engine
  • Really excited about making AAA games
  • Sure of their ability to communicate across disciplines
  • Excellent at keeping records
  • Good knowledge of how Unreal Multiplayer works
  • Knowing C++ or C# is a plus

Salary and other perks
