About the Practice
Cwm Calon and Aberbeeg Medical Practices are community-focused, medium-sized GP surgeries serving approximately 5,500 patients in the ex-mining valleys of Blaenau Gwent. The practice recently expanded with the addition of Aberbeeg Medical Practice, creating a supportive and forward-thinking multi-site team environment.

Role Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic Salaried GPs with a potential view towards partnership to join our team. As a GP with Cwm Calon and Aberbeeg, you will provide high-quality clinical care while contributing to the growth and innovation of the practice.

Main Duties & Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centred care to a diverse community population.
- Manage patient consultations, chronic disease management, and enhanced services.
- Contribute to clinical governance, CPD, and mentoring programs.
- Support training of GPSTs, medical students, and junior staff.
- Participate in the practice’s multidisciplinary team, including pharmacists, nurses, and HCAs.
- Engage in practice-wide initiatives to improve healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.

Person Specification
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
- MBChB or equivalent medical degree
- MRCGP CCT (Certificate of Completion of Training)
- GMC registration
- Active on All Wales Medical Performers List (or willing to apply)
Desirable:
- UK professional registration (NHS Careers Guidance)
- Experience working with diverse patient populations
Other Requirements:
- DBS/Disclosure check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions) 1975
- Willingness to undertake visa sponsorship if required (Skilled Worker Visa Guidance)
