About the Role

Pacific Gardens Nursing and Rehab in Fresno, California, is seeking a compassionate and skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our dedicated in-house therapy team on a PRN (as needed) basis.

Our facility provides a range of services, including short-term rehabilitation, long-term care, and geriatric outpatient therapy. This position offers flexibility, professional growth, and the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of patients recovering from complex medical conditions.

Position Details:

• Type: PRN (flexible schedule with excellent work-life balance)
• Pay: $70–$75 per hour (based on experience)
• Location: Pacific Gardens Nursing and Rehab, Fresno, CA

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, swallowing, and cognitive-communication disorders in accordance with regulatory and clinical standards.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that support patient goals and functional improvement.
• Monitor and adjust therapy interventions based on patient progress and outcomes.
• Provide education and counseling to patients, families, caregivers, and staff on speech and swallowing management.
• Complete detailed and compliant documentation, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries.
• Collaborate closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care.

Qualifications

• Current Speech-Language Pathology license (State of California).
• Open to new graduates and experienced SLPs alike.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
