JOB DESCRIPTION

 

Essential Responsibilities

You will work as a Warehouse Operator in a storage facility that also manufactures Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs). This function places a high value on achieving world-class standards of material flow, storage, accuracy, quality, and kitting in preparation for PCB programme ramp-ups and integration.

 

Role Summary/Purpose

  • Offer practical assistance to execute a variety of activities, including:
  • Physical movement of materials, such as picking, packing, and labelling.
  • Inventory control in accordance with aerospace standards
  • Inventory transactions within business systems (ERP)
  • Housekeeping to maintain performance.
  • Attend daily rhythms to assess progress and discuss critical performance KPIs.
  • Use problem-solving abilities to overcome questions and deliver quick solutions.
  • Support Leadership’s process improvement activities to enhance turnaround time (TAT), reduce inventory losses, and create world-class material presentation.
  • Deliver on personal goals agreed upon with leadership in terms of safety, quality, delivery, and cost.

 

Desired Characteristics

  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Material handling experience in a manufacturing environment, including ESD and MSD.
  • Ability to handle priorities in accordance with customer expectations.
  • Ability to work constructively with a larger team.
  • Working knowledge of an ERP system.
  • Moderate planning and organisational abilities.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.

 

Qualification / Requirements

IT savvy, with moderate comfort in PC programmes and expertise using ERP planning systems or inventory management alternatives.
