What you’ll be doing:

As a qualified Mental Health Nurse (RMN), you’ll ensure that young people and adults with acute mental health needs receive top-quality care. You’ll also support your colleagues and foster a culture of positive teamwork.

The wards are fast-paced, offering a mix of routine and variety to keep you engaged and motivated. Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering high-quality, compassionate, and effective nursing care to service users.
  • Taking responsibility for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care.
  • Providing mentorship and guidance to team members.
  • Observing, documenting, and reporting any changes in service user conditions, ensuring accurate records of care provided.

Skills and knowledge you’ll need:

  • A relevant nursing qualification.
  • NMC registration.

Location: 190 Barnet Rd, Potters Bar EN6 2SE

Join the team at Potters Bar Clinic, where we provide care for young people and adults with acute mental health needs and personality disorders in a well-established 24-hour care setting. The CAMHS Tier 4 Low Secure services cater to young people aged 13–18.

Potters Bar Clinic is conveniently located in a residential area, just a minute’s drive from the M25 and a short bus ride from Potters Bar Train Station, with a bus stop right outside, making it easily accessible for most commuters.

What you’ll receive:

  • Annual salary: £33,000 – £38,000 (dependent on experience) + £5,000 Welcome Bonus*
