CRM Developer (MS Dynamics & Student Systems)
Location: Brighton, UK
Hours: Full-time (up to 37.5 hours per week). Flexible working options will be considered, subject to business needs.
Salary: £57,128 per annum (includes market forces supplement)
Contract Type: Fixed-term, 12 months

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and motivated CRM Developer to join the IT Services team at the University of Sussex. This is a key opportunity to contribute to the enhancement and support of our Microsoft Dynamics CRM platform and student information systems.
You will work on applications that support the student lifecycle—from application through to graduation—along with future developments aligned to the University’s digital strategy. The role involves a mix of business-as-usual support and project-based work within the Sussex Projects framework. You’ll engage directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements, resolve issues, and deliver improvements throughout the full software development lifecycle.
Your responsibilities will include designing, developing, integrating, testing, and maintaining new features, ensuring our systems continue to meet the evolving needs of our users.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced and proactive CRM Developer with:
- Strong applied and theoretical knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and the Power Platform
- A proven background in supporting Dynamics CRM for a diverse user base
- Experience in student information systems (desirable)
- Proficiency in ETL design and integration, including API management
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and best practices
- Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to manage priorities and delegate where needed
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
