The company seeks a Senior Ground Systems Engineer to oversee the whole ground segment development process, from conceptual design to maintenance. This post involves collaborating with Mission Systems and Operations teams.

Responsibilities of the Senior Ground Systems Engineer:

  • Participate in or lead the creation of ground systems such as the Mission Control System, the Mission Planning System, and the Ground Station Interface System.
  • Determine the needs for the ground segment.
  • Interface with external supplier teams as a Product Owner or Technical Officer, and support the development team during the ground segment development phase.
  • Produce and maintain high-quality project documentation, including requirements, verification and validation plans, test procedures, and test reports.
  • Verify and validate the systems with other team members.

Skills and Experience for the Senior Ground Systems Engineer:

  • A university degree in computer science, telecommunications, or another related engineering area.
  • Over 5 years of industry expertise in satellite ground systems engineering.
  • Good understanding of the primary components of a ground segment (for example, mission control system and mission planning system).
  • Good understanding of requirements engineering, system integration, verification, and validation.Benefits:
