About the Role
We are seeking an Associate Professor (Teaching) to join our leadership team for the MSc Management programme — a large and successful master’s course attracting over 500 students annually.
The MSc Management degree provides graduates from diverse disciplines with the knowledge, skills, and tools to transition into management roles across industries. The postholder will play a strategic leadership role, helping to shape the programme’s future direction as the School expands its postgraduate portfolio.
You will contribute vision and leadership to prepare graduates for the evolving business landscape — particularly as AI, data analytics, and innovation reshape global management practice. Candidates with experience in programme leadership, curriculum transformation, or industry collaboration are especially encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide academic leadership for the MSc Management programme, including module design, delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Drive curriculum innovation to ensure relevance to modern business and management trends.
- Integrate theory with real-world practice, supporting student employability and experiential learning.
- Lead and mentor teaching staff and contribute to programme quality assurance.
- Collaborate across departments and foster connections with industry partners for guest teaching, case studies, and internships.
- Support School-wide educational initiatives, working to enhance the student experience and teaching excellence across the portfolio.
Candidate Profile
Essential Criteria:
- PhD (or equivalent doctorate) in Business, Management, or a closely related field.
- Significant teaching experience in management or related areas at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
- Evidence of teaching excellence, demonstrated through high student evaluations, peer reviews, or awards.
- Experience of educational leadership, such as module coordination, programme leadership, or large-scale teaching team management.
- Ability to connect theory to current practice, fostering engagement among diverse, international student cohorts.
Desirable:
Strategic understanding of the future of work and the impact of digital transformation, data, and AI on management education.
Experience managing large programmes or cohorts (e.g. > 300 students).
Evidence of collaboration with industry or professional bodies to enhance teaching outcomes.
Salary & Benefits
Grade 9: £68,284 – £74,166 per annum (including London Allowance)
