JOB SUMMARY

 

We are looking for a highly experienced and passionate Senior Brand and Customer Manager (sBCM) to oversee the strategy and operational plans for the AZ alliance indication in prostate cancer within the BGG and Collaboration Oncology Franchises. The post will also entail overseeing Alliance management for collaboration, including forecasting and budget management, contract reporting, governance, and alignment in ways of working across businesses.

This position provides a unique opportunity to contribute to substantial advances in cancer treatment in the UK while also advancing your marketing career. The ideal applicant should be able to clearly communicate complicated oncology topics.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Create clear and practical plans to meet business objectives and accelerate the uptake of oncology treatments in the NHS.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders, both locally and worldwide, to ensure marketing plans are aligned and effectively executed.
  • Lead the collaboration’s leadership alignment meetings.
  • Lead forecasting, KPI reporting, and governance for the AZ alliance.
  • Lead, motivate, and matrix manage a top-performing marketing team to meet strategic and operational objectives.
  • Oversee the creation of campaigns and content that are consistent with the overall marketing strategy.
  • Create feedback loops to ensure that strategies and plans are insight-driven and customer-focused.
  • Forecast and create key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns.
  • Manage the marketing budget properly.
  • Act as the business signatory for the relevant indications.
  • Develop and manage customer relationships at the Scientific Leader level. Provide direct line management to the brand/indication team.

 

Education & Experience:

  • A degree or similar qualification in a Life Sciences field is necessary.
  • Experience with oncology and/or brand launches is preferred.
  • Extensive expertise establishing and contributing to marketing plans.
  • Experience carrying out strategies through strategic account planning and tactical implementation.
  • Direct-line management experience is preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work across functions.
  • Proactiveness and capacity to take the initiative.
  • Strong strategic thinking skills.
  • The ability to manage several projects efficiently.
  • Excellent writing, speaking, and presentation skills.
  • Skilled at synthesising complex information.
  • Strong learning agility.
