JOB SUMMARY

The Operations team supports these new services by supplying critical systems and services throughout the infrastructure layer, which serve as the foundation for all IT services at the university.
We are looking for a Senior Network Engineer to join the team and manage our network transformation to the vxlan paradigm, with Juniper Mist AI as the foundation. Working with current technology on an enterprise scale is a rare opportunity to learn and make a difference for the network’s clients.
To be considered for the post, you must meet the following requirements:
- Significant experience managing Juniper switching and routing.
- Experience operating in an enterprise or university context.
- Ability to demonstrate expertise of Network Access Control (NAC) products.
- Experience working with enterprise WiFi.
Additionally, you should be able to
- Show how documentation fits into the service delivery paradigm.
- Good communication abilities, especially the presenting of technical concerns to non-specialist audiences.
