School Nurse (Swedish Speaking) – South West London

Part-Time | Visa Sponsorship Available | Relocation Support Provided

The Role

We are currently seeking a qualified and compassionate School Nurse to join the school’s dedicated pastoral care team. This is a part-time position with flexibility on the start date—either immediate or from August, depending on availability.

You will play a vital role in safeguarding student health and supporting the wider well-being strategy across the school community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day student health concerns and coordinate in-school vaccinations and health consultations
  • Provide first aid, medical advice, and staff training in line with best practices
  • Conduct health screenings for younger pupils and contribute to safeguarding efforts
  • Act as the school’s Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL)
  • Support policy development on health and well-being and handle related administrative duties

Candidate Requirements

The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse (RGN or RSCN) with:

  • A clear passion for working with children and young people
  • Prior experience in paediatric or school-based healthcare settings
  • Strong safeguarding knowledge and the confidence to work independently
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Fluency in Swedish (spoken and written) is highly desirable
  • A proactive, empathetic, and team-oriented approach
