JOB SUMMARY

 

Hull University Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust is searching for someone like YOU to help us provide high-quality midwifery care to the people of Hull and East Yorkshire.

We are searching for UK NMC registered midwives to join our core community midwifery team. Band 5 midwives will be chosen based on experience.

Hull University Teaching Hospitals employs exceptional people who provide midwifery and obstetric care to a local community of around 4800 women each year, representing a varied range of ethnicity, social background, and health requirements.

We are committed to the maternity change articulated by the Better Births agenda and have a number of pathways to help women achieve it.

We have a midwifery-led facility with triage, three birthing suites with pools, and an obstetric unit with ten birthing rooms, a Bereavement Suite, and two obstetric theatres with a four-bed recovery area. There is also a community midwifery team that provides home birth services. Each birth is unique, and with our diverse selection of facilities, we can help women make their pregnancy and delivery experience unforgettable.
