JOB SUMMARY

 

The Account Manager’s role is to identify business prospects and manage customer relationships. You will be directly responsible for the retention and growth of our customer base. The ideal applicant would have experience in sales and customer service. We want you to be a dependable professional who can strike a balance between customer focus and results-oriented thinking.

You’ll assist produce new business prospects by discovering leads and converting them into qualified leads and opportunities using focused marketing campaigns. Your ultimate goal is to find opportunities with prospects and new clients and turn them into long-term lucrative partnerships.

Employment type: Full-time.

Work Schedule: Hybrid (in-office). Monday To Thursday (up to 25% travel).

Responsibilities:

  • Achieve growth and meet sales targets
  • Create and implement a strategic business plan to increase the company’s consumer base.
  • Contribute to growing collaborations.
  • Build and promote strong, long-term client connections by collaborating with them and understanding their needs.
  • Present sales, revenue, and spending statistics along with reasonable estimates.
  • Identify rising markets and market movements, while remaining fully aware of new products and competitive status.
  • Present products to prospective customers.
  • Provide professional after-sales support to increase customer loyalty.
  • Capable of cultivating your own account list.
  • Generate business by reaching out to new clients through cold calling, social networking, and effective email campaigns.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Sales Teams to implement targeted sales and marketing initiatives and campaigns.
  • Regularly update Salesforce and Outreach to stay up to speed on leads and follow-up efforts.
  • Qualify leads and set up introduction meetings with prospects and the Business Development Manager or Sales Engineer.
  • Supervise and support the team to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Generate unique ideas to serve customers and increase brand recognition.
  • Use client input to improve the customer experience.
  • Report sales figures on a regular basis, and recommend improvements.
  • Stay current with new introductions and offer assistance to clients and the sales team.
  • Organise meetings with the sales team to ensure that all members are on board and deliver by deadlines.

Requirements

  • 5 years of expertise in SaaS/Cloud computing sales.
  • Comfortable at picking up the phone and making cold calls
  • Professional services or consulting sales experience is necessary.
  • Experience using a CRM, ideally Salesforce Lightning and Engage
  • Outreach experience is a plus.
  • Experience achieving and exceeding goals.
  • Understanding the whole suite of Google Cloud offerings. (Preferred)
  • Capability to work in a high-energy sales team atmosphere as a team player
  • A natural leader with positive and lively phone skills, outstanding listening skills, and strong writing abilities.
  • Excellent strategic and analytical thinking skills, with the ability to create, sell, and implement a sales strategy.
