Your role:
The goal of this role will be to check and repair APUs and component repairs in accordance with our clients’ quality and safety standards.
The APU Technician’s primary responsibilities will be:
- Technical expertise includes working with GTCP 85 and/or GTCP 36 series APUs.
- Regulatory Knowledge: Understanding of the EASA Part 145 regulatory standards for aviation component maintenance, repair, and overhaul.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of Microsoft Office, as well as company systems and procedures.
- Analytical Skills: The ability to comprehend manuals and accurately document inspection results.
- Organisational Skills: Outstanding planning and organisational ability.
- Safety Conscious: Must be extremely safety conscious and pay close attention to detail.
- Aviation Background: Experience in an aviation context is required, with a preference for previous experience in a similar job.
APU Technician’s Requirements:
- Knowledge of the EASA Part 145 regulations
- Experience checking, overhauling, and repairing APUs (GTCP-85 is desirable).
- Workbench experience.
