A day in the life of the chef de partie at the Imperial Hotel Blackpool

What you will do…

Reporting to the Head Chef, your working day will comprise the following:

• Assist with the creation of delicious foods for our guests.
• Collaborate with the Head Chef to create new menu items and improve current ones.
• Oversee a certain area of the kitchen, ensuring that it operates smoothly and effectively.
• Help the Head Chef with everyday kitchen operations.
• Supervise junior chefs, offering instruction and assistance as needed.

What We Need from You

To succeed as Chef de Partie, you’ll need the following attributes and skills:

• Proven experience as CDP or in a similar function.
• Strong understanding of cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and best practices.
• Passion for cuisine and a dedication to upholding high standards.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, and sometimes stressful, team setting.
• A flexible approach to working hours, including evenings, weekends, and occasional breakfast shifts.
