ABOUT THE ROLE:
If you have technical knowledge and an analytical approach, we want you on our team. You will collaborate with us to identify issues and do root cause analysis for an advanced fleet across a variety of systems (electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic), utilising electrical diagrams, test equipment, and diagnostic software.

As a valued member of our team, you will be in charge of completing corrective actions and maintenance on new trains in a depot environment to maintain passenger service availability and reliability.
ABOUT HOW MUCH WE PAY
As a Real Living Wage Employer, CAF is happy to offer competitive wages. For this work, you will be awarded a salary of around £45,000 per year.
ABOUT YOU.
To be successful in this profession, you must have an NVQ Level 3 in electrical/mechanical engineering (or similar) and three years of post-apprenticeship experience. You have expertise detecting defects and doing root cause analysis across numerous systems, and you can understand electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematic designs, as well as use diagnostic software and test and measurement equipment. You have a valid driver’s license and are willing to work a variety of shifts, including weekends, day shifts, and nights.
