Detailed job description and primary responsibilities
To carry out all nursing procedures and practises in compliance with the Neonatal Unit policies and the Trust’s policies.
Assess, plan, and implement nursing care in collaboration with the family and multidisciplinary team to guarantee personalised care.
To assess nursing care, foster discussions with the multidisciplinary team, and adopt appropriate nursing advancements that benefit the baby and family.
Always act in a way that promotes the well-being of the baby and family, and pursue personal and clinical development to ensure safe practice.
To aid medical personnel in the treatment and care of infants.
To successfully interact with the multidisciplinary team and their families.
Maintain accurate and thorough nursing records using proper documentation, while also ensuring their confidentiality and safety.
To align workload with clinical priorities.
Always be professional, optimistic, and polite.
