Detailed job description and primary responsibilities

The position holder will assist Cath Lab patients in the pre and post-procedure setting, including inpatients. They will assist the IRCU- Cardiology staff with pre-operative and post-operative cleanliness and maintenance of medical equipment to ensure functionality, as well as actively assist in the operating room with safe positioning to and from the operating table, as well as clean and prepare the TOE room. The position holder will be responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and assisting as required in the care and movement of equipment, supplies, blood and specimen products, and pharmacy goods.
