Job Description.

The post holder prioritises product and process quality and serves as an advocate for both.

As the Aftermarket Supervisor, you will supervise a team of roughly 24 individuals and must use your experience and knowledge in this MRO environment to meet our operationally oriented Repair Plan Targets (daily to annually) for our various customers.

To fulfil these aims, the post holder will be expected to draw on the skills and knowledge of their team to identify and solve problems, design feasible solutions, and instill a culture of continuous improvement. They will be expected to competently extract, interpret, and present business data in order to make timely judgements.

An Aftermarket Supervisor must be able to confidently interact with their team and across supporting functions, while also promoting a “one team” culture.

To be successful in the Facilitator position, you will:

  • Provide day-to-day operational leadership and management with an emphasis on meeting assigned targets for safety, quality, OTD, cost, people leadership, and compliance.
  • Promote a safety-first culture while providing the finest quality products to meet our airworthiness requirements.

  • Work cross-functionally to address near-term difficulties and reduce the risk they pose to delivering our customer promises.
  • Ensure that essential company and consumer information is communicated to your employees, and motivate them to perform at their best.
  • Maintain the elements of the allotted Value Stream budget by achieving cost-effective operational delivery of the Value Stream metrics (Bowler performance) and facilitating the flow of production to satisfy our Master Maintenance Plan.
  • Manage your Team’s administrative tasks on time.
  • Select, hire, train, and develop allocated workers in accordance with workshop requirements and the agreed-upon business unit headcount.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement within your team and use the right approach, for example. Go to Gemba to discuss any chances for improvement throughout the training.
  • Actively support your team’s flow of Continuous Improvement ideas to uncover cost-cutting and process improvement possibilities – act decisively and provide timely feedback based on the information you receive from them.
  • Identify process restrictions and bottlenecks, and then help design methods to mitigate output risks.
  • Assist the Operation and Value Stream Leaders in carrying out the strategic plans for manpower, equipment, and other resources within the organisation.
