Overview:
We are looking for a talented and customer-oriented Shopkeeper to join our team. As a Shopkeeper, you will be in charge of managing our shop’s daily operations, providing exceptional customer service, and increasing sales.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, fluency in English and Spanish, and a keen eye for detail.
Duties:
– Greet and help customers in a friendly and professional manner.
– Keep a clean and organised shop environment.
– Stock shelves and make sure things are presented properly.
– Analyse sales trends and change inventories accordingly.
– Use our POS system to precisely process consumer transactions.
– Offer product recommendations and upsells to boost sales.
– Help with data entry duties for updating inventory records.
– Respond to client concerns, complaints, and returns with patience and professionally.
– Communicate clearly with customers, colleagues, and suppliers.
– Ensure compliance with the health and safety regulations.
Requirements:
– Fluent in written and spoken English and Spanish.
– Excellent phone etiquette.
– Excellent analytical abilities for analysing sales data and making informed judgements.
– Skilled in data entry activities with excellent accuracy.
– Capability to multitask and prioritise things effectively.
– Detail-oriented, with an emphasis on keeping an organised shop environment.
– Strong interpersonal abilities to establish connection with consumers.
– Capability to work successfully in a team context.
– Prior experience in a similar capacity is preferable, but not needed.
