About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to:
- Build and refine core Child in Need and Child Protection skills
- Work directly with children, young people, and families
- Develop co-produced, child-centred plans that reflect the aspirations and long-term wellbeing of families
You’ll work across one of the following teams (please specify your preference in your application):
- Assessment and Intervention (Child in Need Team)
- Assessment and Intervention (Court Teams)
- Permanence Teams

Wirral Council holds a Skilled Worker sponsorship licence and welcomes applications from international candidates who:
- Are registered with Social Work England, and
- Require visa sponsorship through the Skilled Worker route

Important Information
- This post is subject to an Enhanced DBS check
- Applicants must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in spoken English with members of the public
